Lineage Piece Summon Cores: Where to Use & How to Get Them
Getting Summon Cores
Summon Cores are a general drop: 4% from any mob or boss, plus a guaranteed slot in the bonus-material pool of Rare chests and higher (Mythical chests pay up to 3 at once). You accumulate them passively while grinding anything.
Where to Use Them
Summon Cores are exchanged at the boss-summon NPC — they let you force-spawn world bosses instead of waiting out spawn cycles. World bosses in Lineage Piece run on timed rotations (the Sung Jin Woo slot cycles every 90 seconds; Fossil Island bosses every 3 minutes), and a core skips the queue when the timer or another player’s summon works against you.
When They Matter
- Targeted material farms — when you need one specific boss repeatedly (say, Sword Technique Books from Sung Jin Woo, or Six Eyes from Gojo), cores keep the rotation dense.
- Boss-kill quests — Mastery chains demand dozens of specific boss kills (“Defeat Sukuna 20 times”, “Defeat Ichigo (Bankai) 30 times”); cores turn those from sessions into minutes.
- Slime chain — Rimuru summoning has its own item (the Slime Orb), not cores — don’t confuse the two.
Hold your cores for the boss you are actively farming rather than burning them casually; the 4% trickle refills slower than endgame chains consume them.
